The NSBE-PBAE  received it's charter in December of 2005.   PBAE main goal is to support the mission of the National Society of Black Engineers which state:

NSBE’s mission is to increase the number of culturally responsible Black engineers who excel academically, succeed professionally and positively impact the community.

The engineers that make up PBAE represents the various disciplines in the engineering field from Civil to Mechanical .  Keeping in line with the vision of National, PBAE focuses on providing a forum for minorities in the engineering field, bringing awareness to the exemplary community contributions that these engineers partake in their other professional organizations, as well as NSBE.

Through community service projects, professional development meetings, social gatherings, mentoring and a variety of other activities, PBAE believe it can leave its foot-print on Palm Beach County.
